Rectifiers for a hydrogen pilot
- The challenge
A green hydrogen pilot needed stable, regulated DC power for its electrolysers, in enclosures that could be installed and run outdoors.
- What we built
Two containerised thyristor rectifiers of 558 kW each, forced-air cooled so no air conditioning is needed inside.

DC supply for the pilot’s electrolysers, from containers installed outdoors without air conditioning.

A 3 MW load bank, split in two
- The challenge
Ships, submarines and generator sets must be tested at many load sizes, and a single large load bank is heavy and inflexible.
- What we built
A 3,000 kW AC/DC load bank split into two trolley-mounted units that work as one bank or separately, under PLC and HMI control.
- The result
One design covers both large and small test loads, and moves between test locations on its own trolleys.

One inverter for every source
- The challenge
Rural microgrids run on several fluctuating sources, far from service support, with no budget for separate junction boxes, distribution boards and shelters.
- What we built
One IP55 outdoor inverter with protection, array junction, AC and DC distribution, a generator interface and remote monitoring built in.
- The result
No separate junction or distribution boxes, room to expand or interconnect later, and the Excellence in RE Storage Solutions award at REI Expo 2022.
